Have you seen the Wolfman?

Clark's Trading Post in Lincoln, New Hampshire, certainly offers a variety of attractions. They have their famous bear show, water blaster boats, the spooky Merlin's Mystical Mansion, and even a tribute to New Hampshire's infamous Old Man of the Mountain with The Old Man of the Mountain Climbing Tower, and that's not even everything.

They also offer a train ride on The White Mountain Central Railroad, which sounds fun. Peaceful, even. The White Mountains are beautiful, and people of all ages love trains.

But oh no! What's that? A crazy man chasing the train? Kind of. That's just the Wolfman of Clark's Trading Post. Kids are instructed to tell the Wolfman to "Scat, you old goat!" as the train passes his territory. But it appears the crusty Wolfman Tory has a soft side. Could the local curmudgeon have a softer side? According to a Facebook post by Clarks Trading Post, the Wolfman had his "ears lowered" and donated his curly locks to Wigs For Kids!

Candy Long, owner of Daydreams Hair and Nail Studio, was responsible for taming the Wolfman's beautiful mane. The "crusty old goat" is now looking sharp. Of course, that beard is still a bit of a mess.

Clark's Bears did it up with raffle prizes, including a season pass for the 2024 season! They have a goal of raising $3,600. That's enough to buy two wigs for children in need.

When Wolfman Tory runs at Clark’s White Mountain Central Railroad trains, yelling and threatening (empty threats) at visitors who dare come too close to his 'unobtainium' mine, he'll look a little different. He's a little more lovable, still a bit scary, and a huge reason for Clark’s Bears being such a destination.
