The Wintertime in New England can be a struggle for parents with small children. It's a lot of times spent indoors! You don't want to plop you kids in front of the TV all day but at the same time there are only so many board games. Then throw in the added bonus of a Covid Winter and the result is cabin fever to the max!

Smolak Farms in North Andover, Massachusetts, has been around for 300 years. That's hard for me to wrap my head around. Even in the midst of a pandemic they are (safely) doing what they can to be there for their community. This includes keeping their animal area open all year-round. They have goats, deer, various winged creatures and don't forget ALPACCAS! How cute is this guy? I am obsessed.

After your barnyard hang you can grab lunch at their awesome farm stand. They offer delicious meals to-go every week! Check out this week's specials:

They also sell fresh produce, baked goods, soups, salads, and the absolute BEST homemade pizza which is available by the slice:

Also, are you looking for a unique and special Valentine's Day gift for your sweetheart? Smolak Farms has gorgeous gift baskets for him, her, college students, and more! These are available for pick up or delivery (depending on your location).

Did I give you enough reasons to visit Smolak Farms? If you'd like to learn more about the farm's rich history check out their website and don't forget to follow them on Facebook.
