A New Hotel Has Opened Up Across From Oxford Casino

Since Oxford Casino opened in 2012, if you wanted to enjoy a weekend of fun and games, finding a place to stay nearby was a bit of a challenge. That's all changing with the opening of one of two new hotels in Oxford.

The new 96 room Hampton Inn is now open across Route 26 from Oxford Casino. The land was sold in 2013 by Cresthold Farm, who still operate their farm and ice cream stand next to the new hotel that sits where a barn used to be.

96 rooms near Oxford Casino is just the beginning though.

Oxford Casino has begun construction of their own hotel connected to the casino that will have 200 rooms and is expected to be complete in the summer of 2017.

Jimmy the Greek's is also planning to open a new location in Oxford "a stone's throw away from the Hampton Inn," according to owner Jim Albert.
