Apple & Google Collaborate in Building COVID-19 Tracking Software

It appears that tech firms are at it again, Google and Apple have created technology that will allow people to know if and when they have come into contact with some who has tested positive for COVID 19, according to Bloomberg News.

The article states that the technology will not only trace your contacts, but it will also tell you where you have been that might have potentially put you at risk.

What the Bloomberg News story does not go into is, what does this mean going forward? What will be done with this information going forward?
