If you happen to visit Aquaboggan waterpark in Saco, Maine, over the summertime, you noticed something a little different in the parking area. That would be the giant screen Aquaboggan acquired from the now defunct Saco Drive-In, a staple of the area for decades. Aquaboggan has been working to get their drive-in theater set for a full season next year, but they're ready for a 'sneak preview' this weekend as they get behind a great cause.

Shared on Facebook by Aquaboggan Waterpark, on Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11, the Aquaboggan Drive-In will be showing The Grinch on the big screen to benefit the ongoing Toys for Tots charity. Rather than a set admission price, Aquaboggan is asking for new, unwrapped toys instead.

Space will be limited for their special event at Aquaboggan. The park has set up a reservation system for interested parties who don't want to miss out on a chance to see The Grinch at the drive-in. You can find more details on how to make a reservation here. The reservation fees and 100% of the toys collected will go directly to Toys for Tots.

For those curious about the Aquaboggan Drive-In, this is not their grand opening event. Aquaboggan has been holding special events at the park on various holidays for years, and this is another along those lines. The park plans to unveil plans for a grand opening of the drive-in sometime in 2023, along with a full schedule for next summer.
