Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness This Month by 'Donating Smart'

It's October, and another Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here!

For the 14th year in a row, Q97.9 is pulling out all the stops to raise as much money for breast cancer research as we can. Our annual Q Cans for a Cure fundraiser is underway... and we're shooting to collect 1 MILLION bottles and cans (that's over $50,000 for the Maine Cancer Foundation and the Cancer Community Center!) Here's how you can help us.

The great thing about "Q Cans" is that the money we raise stays close to home in Maine, and it goes to research and treatment for the people that need it the most. More and more people are checking out charities before they make contributions, and "donating smart" is a new way to make sure your money does the most good in the fight to find a cure.
