For most of the country, Black Friday kicked off Thanksgiving evening after we gorged ourselves on turkey and pie. Because of blue laws in Maine that prohibit large stores from opening on Thanksgiving, lines formed at Walmarts across the state waiting for the doors to open at midnight.

This was the what the line looked like at the Oxford Walmart. We stopped in to have a look on our way back to Portland after time with my family in South Paris. It's become my Thanksgiving Day tradition to do a drive-by of all the people who are out in line trying to be the first in the store to get that big deal.

I already got my big deals online, so I'm sitting in the warmth of home relaxing while my stuff will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas.

Did you wait in line for Black Friday? Did you get a deal? Let us know how it went for you in the comments below or on Facebook and Twitter.
