Closing Date for Beloved Fielder’s Choice Ice Cream Announced

Mainers know there's nothing quite like Fielder's Choice. Heck, we'll wait in long lines for what feels like forever just to get our fix.

Fielder's Choice is locally owned homemade ice cream and beyond having quality flavors they're also known for their quantity of servings.

I'll never forget the time I went to Fielder's Choice and ordered a Round Tripper Biscuit as it was reminiscent of the classic Sea Dog's Biscuit at Hadlock Field. Ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies. Imagine my shock when there were THREE SCOOPS of ice cream between two massive chocolate-chip cookies.

Fielder's Choice announced some big changes for the end of the 2020 season. Their location at 680 Minot Ave in Auburn is typically open year-round but they will be closing at the end of the day on November 22nd as well as all other locations with one exception and reopening again in 2021. The exception being the 937 Western Ave, Manchester location will, for the first time, be open all winter.
