Here at The Q, we get free food all the time. On any given day, there's at least one thing on the table in the kitchen just sitting there for anyone to eat. Girl Scout cookies, whoopie pies, donuts, Halloween candy, cake, crackers. The list goes on and on.

Let's not even talk about our new sales manager who actually has a table in her office with full size candy bars!

She's killing us, and a new study may actually support that statement.

According to an article published by the Portland Press Herald, a survey by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Acquisition and Purchasing, another government organization we've never heard of, found that people that got free food in common areas at work at least once a week, were eating an average of almost 1,300 calories while at work. More than 70 percent of those calories coming from food that was free.

We probably already knew this, but now it's confirmed. Gotta go. Someone just stopped by the station with 12 pints of ice cream.
