Did someone say, "Free"?

For one special day in September, your Maine library card will score you entrance where you can experience the beauty of the state's outdoors at no cost.
Free Day at Maine State Parks for Library Card Holders
Mark your calendars for September 20.
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, the Maine State Library and Maine State Parks have teamed up to provide a free admission day to participating state parks.
“This collaboration is a perfect way to highlight the value of libraries and the exceptional outdoor values of Maine’s State Parks,” said the Department's Bureau of Parks and Lands director, Andy Cutko. “Libraries open your mind to the world of literature, and on September 20, your library card is also a ticket to the outdoors.”
Who knew you could get more than some books with your library card?
