Gorham Basketball Player Up For Northeast Player of the Year

MacKenzie Holmes is a senior at Gorham High School and a star player on the girls varsity team. She has been choosen as one of five candidates for USA Today's mid-season Player of the Year award for the Northeast, but she needs our help to win it.

How great a player is she? 6'3" McKenzie averages 30 points and 16.6 rebounds a game and has plans to attend Indiana University in the fall to play as a Hoosier.

USA Today has created a poll asking who should be the Girls Northeast Player of the Year and MacKenzie is up against some tough competition with some great players out of New Jersey, Maryland, and Washington D.C. As of this writing she was in second place with 25% of the vote.
