Jameson Tavern Closed Freeport, Maine
Last year was the last year Jameson Tavern's dive bar doors would be open and I wasn't ready for that type of loss. I love a good dive, and this little tavern was one of my favorites in that area. I mean dang, it's been around for more than 200 years.
"It was a historic restaurant and bar, closed its doors permanently on Saturday, November 21, 2024. The closure was announced by owner Tom Hincks, citing the rising costs of operating the business, including rent, as the primary reason" -WMTW
Jameson Tavern Haunted
By the way guys, this tavern is consistently being haunted by a little girl named Emily according to WMTW and many other locals.
Not only is it haunted, but it's' said to be one of the most haunted places in all of New England. Pretty impressive because according to WMTW again, a psychic medium named Sonny Robinson visited the bar to confirm. Yikes.
