With the release of the new trailer for Stephen King's "It" today, we thought we should look back at some terrifying films set right here in Vacationland.

We have a pretty cool advantage here in Maine, because one of the world's most iconic horror writers calls our state home. Stephen King was born in Maine in the '40s, and he's set some of his most iconic stories here since he started writing in the '60s.
