People give Starbucks a hard time for offering Pumpkin Spice flavored drinks in August, but once the temps start dropping, I begin dreaming of snow days and ski swaps.

Curious about opportunities to buy and sell snow sport equipment in Maine, I did a quick search and came across a blog written by a Maine family who is full of die-hard ski fans.

Aptly named, the blog is entitled "A Family Skiing in Maine" and offers tips, insider knowledge,  stories, and snow reports. It seems like a great resource for anyone looking for ski-related news and updates in Maine.

Among their entries is a collection of ski swaps in Maine. If you find that any are missing, Michael Salisbury (or self-proclaimed "old man" of the family) asks for help completing the list.

Be sure to follow the actual blog for recent additions to the list.

In the mean time, here's what Michael has so far - grab your calendar and start saving, new and used ski gear is just around the corner.
