Humpback Whale Shows Appreciation After Being Freed From Fishing Nets [VIDEO]

A group of friends were out on the bay having a great time on their boat, fishing, relaxing in the sun. Then they spotted what they thought was a dead whale.

Turns out the whale wasn't dead, but exhausted from trying to swim with fishing nets slowing her down. So the friends did the human thing and started pulling and cutting the nets in an attempt to free the majestic mammal. What followed was a race against time, tide, and a dying whale. After about a half hour, the whale was free. As she swam away, she showed her appreciation to the rescuers..
