I Want to Like Pumpkin Pie More Than I Do…

Doesn't that look perfect and delicious? Much like Needhams, I don't think I've found the right pumpkin pie - because I want to like it....but I kinda don't.

I buy pumpkin pie every year. Usually from a grocery store. I actually crave it. I think it's just the time of year and being bombarded with pumpkin this, pumpkin that.

I take a little whipped cream, a perfect slice...bite into it and always say the same damn thing,

Eh.

Check out this fancy 4 star restaurant pumpkin pie in Chicago! It's clear! Uh, not making me want it anymore...

I am an optimist, however, and think that perhaps I just haven't had THE pumpkin pie. So, where is the best pumpkin pie?
