What could possibly save 1.3 trillion gallons of water every year? Peeing in the shower!

The website IFL Science (I effing Love Science) makes the case. It sounds pretty good too! We pee on average about 6-7 times a day using around 1.6 gallons of water per flush.

So, with 319 million people in the US, if we all peed in the shower - well, that adds up to 1.3 trillion gallons a year.

I see some holes in the theory. I really could only pee once in the shower, because I'm not showering 7 times a day. Okay...I see one hole in the theory. Other than that, it's a matter of trying to remember to hold it until I get into the shower. Sometimes quite the task after first waking up!

I'm gonna do my part to save the earth and pee at least once in the shower! Would you?
