Iron Claus in Portland is Like Santa With an 80’s Metal Vibe
Get your picture with Iron Claus and help a needy community in Maine.
Join Ironclad Eats and Belleflower Brewing to collect goods and donations for the Preble Street Food Pantry! Belleflower Brewing is on Cove Street in Portland and often hosts the Ironclad Eats food truck. It's a match made in heaven.
Iron Claus will be sitting on his heavy metal throne to pose for pictures with you, your kids, your dog, your grandma! You bring it, he will pose with it! Both Friday, November 25, and Saturday, November 26 from 12 pm - 7 pm.
This event is FREE. But they are trying to do some good. So they are asking that everyone either make or bring a donation to Preble Street to sit on Santa's lap...I mean Iron Claus' lap. You can find out what Preble Street needs here.
Those dates are busy. Friday is Black Friday and Saturday is Small Biz Saturday. So you will surely be out and about. Grab some tacos and the brewery will be open.
But the star of the day is Iron Claus! The area will be turned into a scene straight out of the 80s with a metal vibe! Remember that the cost of a picture is any donation to Preble Street.
About Preble Street:
According to the Ironclad/Belleflower Event Page -
Preble Street is currently providing over 1,000,000 meals/year to youth, individuals, and families experiencing hunger and/or homelessness in Maine! This includes 25-50 pantry boxes every day! They also provide hundreds of pounds of food each week to Maine Immigrants' Rights Coalition for them to create culturally appropriate meals for New Mainers. Prebble Street relies on donations from individuals and partner agencies to continue doing this work!
