Parts of Maine could See Temps Well Above Average Next Week
I think we can all agree, this has been a weird winter.
I feel like this year, each season has somehow contained all four seasons at various points. We had a mostly disappointing summer weather-wise. Fall was all over the place, and winter has been straight-up bonkers. It fills me with a small amount of trepidation headed into the spring and summer.
Will it be like last year all over again? Will there be summer in our summer this year? Hard to say. But the Accuweather forecast for pretty much all of Maine shows some above average temperatures, starting next week. Granted, they'll likely be tainted by some rain at points, but the air won't hurt our face either.
From tip to tip, Maine should be pretty warm next week.
From Presque Isle to Portland, it should feel pretty nice this week. Up in the County, temps should be in the 30's and 40's for most of the week. They'll even get a glimpse of it this week too, with temps in the high 20's and low 30's. But there's another weather arc present statewide too.
Rain is likely going to be a component of all this weather. From up north, all the way down through the Bangor area and into Southern Maine. Temps will hover in the mid to upper 40's. Naturally, it could be windy too, but nothing serious. None of this looks like stormy weather, per se. It just looks like we're going to skip some more of the winter snow this year.
But again, Mother Nature will not let us have any fun with it. While it is nice to see some temps that feel much more like Spring than Winter, the rain will make it a novelty, really. There won't be any people walking down the streets in shorts and a t-shirt. Well, not anybody that wouldn't anyway. But we all know they're crazy.
