It's no secret that we have a loud and proud foodie population here in New England, and with good reason. Our restaurant industry is killing it right now, and there's never a shortage of new establishments opening their doors to the public. You can never run out of places to visit for your next dining experience, especially in Massachusetts.

When it comes to highlighting the best establishments around, no one does a better job than LoveFood. From discussing the nation's top restaurants to sharing recipes, news, and commentaries, LoveFood is a foodie's digital paradise.

A while back, the site published a list of the most adorable small-town restaurants in each state. The findings were conducted based on user reviews, accolades, awards, and the firsthand experience of the LoveFood staff.

So which Bay State establishment was featured? That would be none other than Roy Moore Lobster Company in Rockport, Massachusetts.

Roy Moore Lobster Company is the oldest lobster company in Rockport, founded over a century ago back in 1918. The seasonal father-and-son-owned operation serves fresh, local seafood in an outdoor waterfront setting. LoveFood particularly praised the "boiled lobster, stuffed clams, oysters, smoked salmon, fishcakes, warming chowder, perfectly crispy shrimp, and haddock." You can see pictures of these delectable dishes here.

To top things off, if you're thirsty, Roy Moore's beer and wine menu is a continuation of their locally-sourced fare. Their website states that they proudly support "small artisan natural wine producers and East Coast craft beer/cider makers."
