Sometimes we all just want to be seen and heard. Not only just in life in general but also by our favorite celebrities (or really, any celebrity) on social media.

When it happens, the serotonin and adrenaline rush is next level. And that's exactly what just happened to a popular Maine singer on Instagram.

Maine Singer Lexi James

For years now, Maine's Lexi James' star has not only been growing but also shining brighter than ever. Even though Lexi currently lives back home in York, she's already spent time in Nashville, Tennessee making big moves and doing big things.

She won the inaugural New England Sings competition that was created by super successful singer/songwriter and former American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi in 2016, and is a three-time New England Music Awards nominee.

According to her Lexi's official website, she's already shared the stage with country star Brad Paisley and the late, great Charlie Daniels Band. In fact, Lexi's 2018 album, Ripple in the Water, features songs co-written by Carrie Underwood.

To say she's already having a successful music career is clearly an understatement, which makes it no real surprise at all that country star Jelly Roll recently noticed and showed some love to Lexi on Instagram after posting a cover of his song Save Me.

Because literally just hours after posting that cover, Jelly Roll himself seemingly gave his blessing and showed his appreciation for Lexi's talent, skill, and song choice with one simple double tap of the fingers.

Which, naturally, Lexi geeked out about (and rightfully so.)

Not all of Maine now sitting back and impatiently waiting for that Jelly Roll/Lexi James collaboration we all didn't realize we want and needed until this whole interaction happened.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
