Kwame’s Good Food Diaries: A Pleasant Surprise at the Tuscan Table in South Portland

A month or so ago, I went and met a friend at Tuscan Table in South Portland.

I figure it would be Italian with a pleasant atmosphere and hearty dishes of food.

Needless to say, I got more than I expected.

It was two floors of pure unmatched elegance. The who's who of Portland were out enjoying themselves with food and beverages with a presentation straight out of the show 'Top Chef.'

Me being a cynic, things that look too good to be true are just that.

I ordered the Bone-in Pork chops with the Sauteed Brussel Sprouts (check out that pic above) and the pureed potatoes.

GIRL! This meal was so good; I was going to the kitchen to fight the chef for playing with my emotions. Food this good is a crime.

Those Pork Chops, Sprouts, Potatoes, they called my inner fat boy to come to the pulpit ad sing their praises.
