Sometimes we forget that L.L. Bean is all over the world, not just in our little town of Freeport, Maine. With 25 stores in Japan, L.L. Bean decided that they needed their very own, iconic Bootmobile.

With the addition of the Japanese Bootmobile, L.L. Bean now has three in its fleet and and Bootmobile Ambassador Eddie Flaherty from Lewiston got to go to Japan to deliver it. He drives a car shaped like a giant boot AND gets to go to Japan? That's a pretty sweet gig.

Fun Bootmobile Fact: According to L.L. Bean's Bootmobile website, the shoelaces for the Bootmobiles are made of 12-strand braided mooring rope, capable of towing 106,000 pounds!
