Lewiston Police Are Looking For Witnesses In Saturday’s Shooting
Lewiston Police said a man was shot in the leg during a fight in the town on Saturday. Luckily the wound was not life threatening and the man was taken to Central Maine Medical Center for the injury. Police have not identified the victim and they are now on the hunt for any body who may have seen the incident go down.
According to WGME.com, Lewiston Police began getting reports of a shooting near Towle Street and quickly responded around 1 p.m. after callers reported hearing gunshots and someone yelling for help. Officers searched the area and an investigation by detectives began right away, but no suspect was found, and no description was given.
