Look for LL Bean to open next to the Market Basket in Biddeford, Maine

According to Saco Bay News, Biddeford will be home to a new outlet store for one of Maine's most popular stores.

Where in Biddeford, Maine will the new LL Bean outlet store be?

The first Market Basket in Maine will have a new neighbor of an LL Bean outlet store. But you'll have to be patient as it's not expected to be complete until late April. Saco Bay News spoke to Jason Sulham, the manager of public affairs at L.L. Bean confirming that they will be next to Market Basket in a new 14,500-square-foot store. It will be a welcome addition to Biddeford Crossing.

This is a big win for the Biddeford and Saco area. The Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jim LaBelle told the Saco Bay News,

We could not be more thrilled to learn that one of our most iconic Maine brands will be coming to and investing in our community. It's further reinforcement that the Biddeford/Saco area has become the commercial hub and a top destination in all of Southern Maine.
