Llamas and Donkeys and Emus, Oh My!

Coming out of a long, cold winter always brings with it a rush of excitement, but mix it with petting farm animals and an outside play place and it's a downright springy adventure!

The Barnyard Animal Exhibit at Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook is opening Saturday, April 28th and will welcome visitors daily from 10a-5p through October 28, 2018, rain or shine.

According to their facebook page, admission is $6.50 per person and infants under 1 are free. If you're looking for frequent visits to the Barnyard, season passes are only $144 for a whole family of 4.

They have almost 200 animals including chickens, ducks, geese, horses, llamas, donkeys, goats, sheep, emus, horses and cows! With two petting areas and jungle gyms for kids, a gift shop and ice cream barn, The Barnyard is the perfect place to get your spring on. So mark your calendars: April 28th! Spring, here we come!
