So you missed out on the L.L. Bean Christmas tree lighting, and you completely forgot to attend Portland's tree lighting. Don't worry, you're still in luck to catch a tree lighting for this season.

It'll be in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Kennebunkport is actually one of the most sought-after towns in New England around Christmas time due to its above-average winter decorations. K-bunk has even made the top 30 for best Christmas towns in the US for a magical winter getaway, according to housebeautiful.

On Friday, December 5, one of my favorite tree lightings in Maine happens in Dock Square, which is the heart of Kennebunkport.

The tree lights at 6 p.m., but there are always fun activities to do with the fam before it starts so I'd advise you to get there early for more magic!

One suggestion I do have to give you that might be pointing out the obvious to most, but if you are planning on going this Friday try to hit Batson River.

The restaurant has 4 locations across Maine, but the K-Bunk one is always more magical than the rest.

You'll see why once you literally just step foot in the door.

Fun fact: Did you know Kennebunkport is the home of the Bush family? They've got a summer retreat, and if you're in the area, you might even spot them!

Either way, get excited for this next tree lighting and start feeling all the magic of the holidays. It's going to be an amazing holiday. Cheers!
