Eric Brakey, the 31 year old former Maine state senator and self described “Liberty Republican” officially announced a 2020 congressional bid for Maine’s 2nd district earlier this week.

According to Wikipedia.org, Brakey was elected to the State Senate for District 20 in 2014 and re-elected in 2016. Last year he was the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate but lost to Angus King.

His Facebook page has a recent post announcing a 2020 run for Congress. In the article he says; “I’m running for Congress because my time in the Maine State Senate showed me that liberty is an unstoppable force, even in government, when the right person is fighting for it. What I did for Mainers, I will bring to Washington, D.C., and create that same impact for my state and the rest of our great Republic.

But it's a recently unearthed YouTube video that has everyone's attention at the moment. Posted on August 6th of 2013, the video shows Eric in nothing but his underwear attempting to do the Harlem Shake. The description says "This is political satire. Eric Brakey and his dance moved are used in this video. We just put it to different music."
