Maine Mariners Will Show Mighty Ducks D2 After Sunday’s Game

The points race to make the playoffs in the ECHL is heating up. With just a handful of games to go in the regular season the Mariners are currently 3 points out of 3rd place in the North Division and are playing every game with an intensity like I've never seen.

The inaugural season for the Maine Mariners started out pretty rocky but they team has done a complete 180 since the start and are, for now, on the outside looking in, but a few more wins, and some other team losses, could put the Mariners in their first playoff position for their first season.

This Sunday afternoon the Mariners look to get a bit closer to those playoff games with an important match up against the Adirondack Thunder at 3pm.  But it's the post game festivities this weekend that has a lot of fans talking.

After the game Sunday, the Mariners will show Mighty Ducks D2 on the Jumbotron at the Cross Insurance Arena. Make sure you stock up on popcorn and snacks at the concession stand during the game, then sit back and enjoy the 1994 classic.
