Maine State Police Need Your Help Finding Missing Minot Girl

A 17-year-old girl has gone missing after making a concerning post on her Facebook page and State Police need your help finding her.

Leah Venable made the post on Facebook Wednesday which referenced suicidal thoughts. She later was discovered missing around 12:40 that afternoon, apparently sneaking out her bedroom window at her home on North Verrill Road in Minot.

Leah is described as approximately 5’4” tall and 200lbs and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and tan pants. She doesn't have a cell phone with her or a car, so she may not have gotten far unless someone picked her up.

Police shared two photos of Leah on their Facebook page asking for help in locating her. Needless to say, Leah has a worried family right now so if you should see her, please call Augusta Regional Communication at 207-624-7076.
