‘Maine’s Got Talent’ is Back, Ready to Wow Crowd for Good Cause

One of Central Maine's most entertaining and uplifting nights is finally back.

After missing out on a few years due to the pandemic, the popular "Maine's Got Talent" music competition is back. It will officially be the 9th edition of this wonderfully entertaining benefit. The show will be held on Saturday, April 22, at the Franco Center in Lewiston. The show starts at 6pm.

The show will pit eight singers against one another in front of a live audience and celebrity judges. The judges' vote will count for 50%, while the audience vote counts as the other 50%. That's quite a cool feature for the audience. You truly get to be part of the show. The audience will experience some very talented signers vying for cash prizes, with the winner taking home $750, second receiving $500, and 3rd place $250.

The most important winner on the night will be Sandcastle Clinical & Educational Services, the show's beneficiary. The organization has been helping developmentally at-risk and special needs children since opening in 1996. Per their website...
