Maine’s Moose Turd Lady May Get Her Own TV Show on TNT
After Mary Winchenbach's video of her moose turd items went viral (like over 3.3 million views on Facebook viral) she had to quit her day job just to try and fill all the orders that were flowing in to her business "Tirdy Works".
Now the Sun Journal is reporting a spokeswoman for Turner, which is a Time Warner company that owns TNT, said that the cable network is discussing a reality show about the Somerville business.
Winchenbach and her wife, Deb Nicholls, recently were in Los Angeles to film a segment on the funny show "Tosh.O" last month when Jenny Ramirez, TBS and TNT’s vice president of unscripted programming, wanted to meet with them about a reality show that would follow the two women as they make their moose poop art, according to the newspaper. The series will be just one season.
The two are now waiting for a contract from TNT for their lawyer to go over, the Sun Journal stated.
