Horror-Themed “MonstahXpo” is Happening in New England Next Month
It may feel a little early in the year to be celebrating all things spooky but think of it as Christmas in July.
MonstahXpo is presenting a fun weekend event in Fairhaven, Massachusetts called Halfway to Halloween.
If you’re a fan of spooky pop culture you do not want to miss this event. This expo will have more than 60 artists, creators, movie makers, vendors, and celebrity guests.
Actor Eugene Clark will be there who has a robust history in theater, television, and film. He starred in Land of the Dead and Unnatural Causes, played Mufasa on stage in Disney's The Lion King in Toronto, and so much more.
Tim Clarke will be there too. The name may not sound familiar but if you were an 80s kid you definitely know his work as he is a puppet builder and used to work for The Jim Henson Company. He worked on puppet design for Dark Crystal and created Uncle Traveling Matt for Fraggle Rock.
Tyler Mane, known in his WCW and UWF days as Big Sky will be at the MonstahXpo as well. His career has gone far beyond the wrestling ring starring as Sabretooth in X-Men, he was in Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween II playing the iconic role of Michael Myers as well as appearing in Rob Zombie’s The Devils Rejects, and he was featured in Joe Dirt and The Scorpion King. This year he will be starring in the Netflix series, Jupiter’s Legacy.
In addition to the guests, there are a ton of artists and vendors showcasing and selling their work. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th from 11am until 7 pm and Sunday, May 1st from 10am until 4pm at the Seaport Inn & Marina. There is a ton to see so learn more about what to expect here and get your tickets here.
