Moody's Diner, located in Waldoboro, is a state treasure. Maybe you've never been there but if you ask the locals about it there's a good chance they'll exclaim, "Moody's Dinah, guy! Yessah! I love that place."

And as someone who grew up visiting Moody's regularly, I'd tell ya the same thing.

According to Moody's website, dining there is "like coming home" and I couldn't agree more. With a friendly atmosphere, a mix of comfort food, and classic Maine seafood, Moody's is the place to be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

In addition to the delicious meals, Moody's is known for having freshly made pies. Their website has a poll asking which pie is the customer favorite and it has thousands of votes so far with Apple in the lead and Four Berry not far behind.

Part of what makes Moody's great is that it has been in the Moody family for generations. Moody's lunch wagon opened up in 1928 and evolved into what it is today.
