A New ConvenientMD Urgent Care Opens in Auburn, Maine
I remember when they broke ground and started construction at 600 Center street in Auburn. I was curious about the purpose of the project and what was going to be put there.

After the completion of the building, the moment I laid eyes on the huge red and blue sign, I immediately recognized that it was the location of a Convenient MD!
According to the Sun Journal, ConvenientMD Urgent Care is the 9th location and was built in the Shaw's parking lot on Center Street in Auburn. As the article states, it's a 5,000-square-foot facility.
Their facilities are equipped with a wide range of basic medical services according to their website, including addressing minor emergencies, conducting X-rays, on-site lab tests, EKGs, and administering IV fluids.
They also provide immunizations, preventive care, and on-site prescription services.
The clinic's hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, and accept most insurance plans.
The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Grand Opening and announced it on its Facebook page.
According to MaineBiz, this is just one of three new ConvenientMD locations in Maine. The other two locations are in Augusta and Sanford.
ConvenientMD first came to Maine back in 2017, the MaineBiz report states, and set up shop in Portland and Westbrook.
There are a total of 29 locations in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, where it is officially based out of.
