What do you think is the most googled health issue in your state? You might be surprised by this 2018 list. Don't worry, though. Medicare Health Plans' researchers say what people google is what they are concerned about, whether it be for themselves or a family member. These Internet searches do not indicate an epidemic in your particular state. That's a relief!

So, what are New Englanders searching for?

Maine: Rabies. Well, it has been top of mind because of recent news of residents coming into contact with rabid animals and getting the disease.

New Hampshire: ADHD. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is no laughing matter. It happens to be the most googled medical condition in the U.S.A., according to Medicare Health Plans. The report indicates nine states searched for ADHD more than any other health problems.

Massachusetts: The most googled health concern in the Bay State is also ADHD.

Vermont: Opioid Use Disorder. Unfortunately, the Green Mountain State has one of the highest rates of opioid deaths in the U.S.

Connecticut: Quarter-Life Crisis. This happens when people who are in their 20s and 30s are having an existential crisis. Are there more millennials in the Nutmeg State than in other state? We'll have to google that question.

Rhode Island: Lupus. WebMD defines Lupus as an autoimmune disease which happens when the immune system attacks its tissues, causing inflammation, swelling and pain.

There you go. We would ask you what you google, but it's really not any of our business.
