New Free Website Helps You Find The Perfect Maine Bike Route
Maine is one of the world’s greatest places to go riding. With it's breathtaking coastal paths, mountain routes and miles of trails, Maine has something to offer every cyclist.
Last week the Bicycle Coalition of Maine launched a new website to help bike riders find that perfect path.
The website, Where To Ride, is an interactive site that includes information about the routes supplied by people who have ridden them. The site covers Maine biking paths and trails from Fort Kent to Kittery with drop down menus that will cover distance, terrain, grade percentage, high or low volumes of traffic and level of difficulty. There are 150 bike routes to choose from on the site.
They even allow you to download GPX and KML files for free to use with your GPS device and to leave a comment about trails you have ridden.
