NSFW: It’s Official; You Really Can Have Almost Anything On Your License Plate In Maine

We have to believe this is a University of Maine student that either has just had with school or just had with the daily grind, Either way, their license plate will certainly set them apart from a lot of other cars buzzing down the highway or driving around campus in Orono.

Shared on Reddit by eagerland, this is another instance of people taking advantage of Maine relaxing the rules on what you can place on your license plate. There's been ongoing debate for more than two years now on what should...or shouldn't be allowed to be displayed on license plates. Maine decided, like several other states, that it potentially infringes on someone's freedom of speech to prohibit certain phrases on license plates.

The only thing that is currently still prohibited is a license plate that may incite violence or hate. Those can still be censored by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, but everything else, including the plate above, is on the table.
