Outdoor Summer Movie Series In Auburn Starts Friday
If you are looking for something a little different and fun to do on Fridays this summer, there's a great outdoor movies series happening in Auburn.
It all starts this weekend on June 11 at Anniversary Park with a showing of the classic 1978 musical film, "Grease" starring Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.
What a blast that would be to get some friends together and sing along with all those great songs...Summer Lovin', Greased Lightning, You're The One That I Want, and more!
There will be 4 Friday showings, 1 Thursday showing and a special Saturday showing on Halloween weekend.
It's popular favorites on the big screen at different locations around Auburn from June 11 through October 30, put together by the good folks at the Auburn Recreation Department.
The Twin City Times article says,
"They will be shown on the city’s huge new 17’ x 30’ inflatable movie screen. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and snacks to enjoy."

- Angels in the Outfield at Pettengill Softball Field on Friday July 16 at 8:45pm
- The Mighty Ducks in the parking lot of Norway Savings Bank Arena on Friday July 30 at 8:45pm
- Aquaman at Lake Grove Park on Friday August 13 at 8:45pm
- Tom and Jerry at Chestnut Park on Thursday September 16 between 7:00 and 8:00pm
- Hocus Pocus at Great Falls Plaza on Saturday October 30 at 8:00pm
