Oh boy. If your commute includes the intersection at Oak Hill, you might want to call your boss and tell them you are going to be late.

According to the Portland Press Herald, you are looking at significant commuting delays starting at 9 a.m.

There is some emergency maintenance work that has to be done to the intersection’s traffic signals.

That Oak Hill intersection just happens to one of Scarborough's busiest intersections connecting Route 1, Black Point Road and Route 114 through a busy business area. There's Amato’s, Hannaford, Pat’s Pizza, and a McDonald’s just to name a few...all near Scarborough High School.

No word on how long it will take to fix the traffic lights or what's actually wrong with the lights. There will be police and fire departments there to help drivers who are gonna go through the intersection. But police would really like you to avoid it if you can!
