This Small Maine Town Might Just Have the Best Ice Cream in New England

We've all got our favorite go-to ice cream shops so I'm fully aware that we might not agree here.

Portland may not be the best city to find an authentic bagel in (unless you go to Forage Market), but you'll find some authentic, really delicious ice cream shops like Sammy's.

Sammy's Scoops Forest Ave. Portland

I just love the story that lead me to discovering this little window because it had nothing to do with social media. I was on my hot girl walk with my dogs  walking my dogs about 6 years ago when I accidentally walked right up to their window.

Best surprise ever. Any place that serves real mint chocolate chip ice cream thats actually green is a huge win in my book. Only a few of you will understand this, but the few that do know that it's a game changer.

Frozen Yogurt Shops Maine

Even better. They've got mint chocolate chip froyo (still green) so now I've got to hide my wallet from myself or I'll end up here every night.

Lib's Dairy Treats

There's usually never many flavor options when it comes to window frozen yogurt, but aside from Sammy's, Lib's Dairy Treats holds it down.

Plus they have a pup cup menu which automatically gives them a spot at the top of my list.

It's on the outskirts of Portland so you don't have to go give yourself anxiety by driving downtown Portland weaving through toursits.
