The International Cryptozoology Museum is the world's only museum that explores, displays, and studies rarely seen or unknown animals like Bigfoots, Sea Serpents, Lake Monsters, and other animals that are believed to be just myths.

Founder Loren Coleman opened the museum in August of 2003 to share all the odd items he's collected for almost half his life. Things like Bigfoot footcasts, mermaids, jackalopes and so on. The museum even houses some Hollywood movie props like the Mothman Prophecies' Point Pleasant "police" outfit, the movie P. T. Barnum's authentic 3+ feet tall Feejee Mermaid, the TV series Freakylinks' 22 foot wide "Thunderbird", and some of Magnolia's falling frogs.

The museum has just relocated to Thompson's Point and is open daily 11-3:30. Complete with a gift shop!
