Robert Pattinson Is Ready to Make Another ‘Twilight’ Film
Robert Pattinson is ready to raise the Twilight franchise from the dead.
The 32-year-old actor, who led the films as Edward Cullen from 2008 to 2012, reflected on the fantasy phenomenon during a recent interview with Variety, joking he "stopped mentally progressing" around the time he began working on the movies, “So it feels like not a day has passed.”
In the six years since, he's transitioned to smaller art house projects like High Life and Good Time because "it’s just the stuff that appeals" to him, but that doesn't mean he's not ready to play a teen vampire again at the drop of a hat.
"I was literally talking to my agent about it,” Pattinson said when asked about potentially doing another Twilight movie. “The amount of time I spend moisturizing, I am ready to play 17 at a moment’s notice. I’ve got the Botox out.”
And he knows the world would be up for it, too.
"Whenever anyone says [Twilight]’s their guilty pleasure, it’s like, you say guilty, what you really mean is just pleasure," he continued.
Yeah, R-Patz, forget how awkward it would be to co-star with your ex again. People! Want! Vampire! Content!
