Santa’s Village in New Hampshire Boasts 1 Million Lights in Magical Holiday Video
Santa's Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire, opened in 1953, and has been entertaining children and adults with the special magic of their Christmas-themed amusement park ever since. Even when it's 75 degrees out and you're wearing shorts and a t-shirt, it still feels like Christmas at Santa's Village. However, when December rolls around, Christmas gets turned up full blast at Santa's Village with one million holiday lights.
A new video posted on Santa Village's Facebook page shows off the amazing light display shot from the Santa Village Jingle Bell Express Train as it loops around the village on National Christmas Light Day on December 1.
"There are about one million Christmas lights used to illuminate the park beginning at dusk during our Christmastime season," their post goes on to say. "Every year we start decking the halls in early September. Our light crew is simply amazing!"
The fact that crews start working on this light display in September just shows you the scale of these holiday lights. The event is super popular, and we can see why.
If you want to grab tickets to see this spectacular light display, you'll want to move fast. They often sell out quickly, and as of this writing, tickets for Saturdays through December 23 are sold out. But there are still some tickets available for Sunday, December 10, and Sunday, December 17. Tickets are only available online, so get them while you can at santasvillage.com.
If you aren't able to get tickets for this event, Santa's Village is also holding a New Year's Eve celebration from 4 to 9 p.m., and tickets are on sale now.
