Sea Dogs Hosting The 18th Annual Mother’s Day 5K This Sunday

The Portland Sea Dogs have teamed up with Intermed and The Maine Track Club for their 18th annual Mother's Day 5K this Sunday beginning at 9:30am.

The 5K will begin in front of the Portland Expo building, then down Congress Street, turning down Stevens Ave, making a right onto Brighton Ave then back down Deering Ave into Fitzpatrick Stadium. The race ends inside Hadlock Field in front of the third base dugout. Slugger The Sea Dog and his Mom will be leading the way.

First place finishers will receive a trophy ,a pair of 2018 Season Tickets for the remainder of the 2018 Sea Dogs season, and throw out the ceremonial first-pitch at a future Sea Dogs game! No one walks away empty handed as participants of the race will receive a complimentary ticket to attend a future Sea Dogs game.

After the race the Portland Sea Dogs will be in action as they take on the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at 1:00.

The Sea Dogs will be wearing pink jerseys for breast cancer awareness and they encourage all fans to also wear pink.
