A new sculpture in Lincoln Park in Portland might make you feel a little unbalanced. The temporary installation is part of TEMPO Art, a "new temporary public art program that will bring curated, site-specific artworks that explore the theme of Places in Transition to Portland’s public spaces. With a goal to enliven key neighborhoods and urban sites, TEMPOart will encourage residents and visitors alike to engage with a changing array of exciting and innovative installations."

This piece is called The American Dream. The stack of single family houses with one turned on its roof symbolizes the challenge of obtaining the single family home ownership dream.

Have you seen the sculpture?
