Three Celebrity Doppelgangers Spotted in the Old Port in Portland, Maine
We already know there are plenty of celebrities that have ties to Maine in one way or another.
Celebrities from Maine
They can either be Maine natives like Patrick Dempsey (who is from the Lewiston-Auburn area), Anna Kendrick (who is from Portland), or Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers (who is from Freeport).
Celebrities with Maine homes
There are also plenty of celebrities that love Maine so much that not only do they vacation here every summer or even multiple times every year, but they go above and beyond and just straight up buy a home in Maine.
A couple of people that come to mind right away? Martha Stewart, who owns an entire estate (named Skylands) in Seal Harbor, and Stephen King, who owns a well-known home (protected with spider web gates with bats on top) on Broadway in Bangor.
We would've added John Travolta to the list, too, but one of the biggest headlines for a couple of years throughout Maine is that his gigantic estate in Islesboro couldn't sell (and honestly, we don't even know the fate of it, whether he sold it or just took it off the market since the link to the listing is no longer active.)
But one thing that has been noticeable lately, especially in the last week, is something involving celebrities (kind of) that slips through the cracks in Maine -- and more specifically, in Portland.
Doppelgangers of popular (or at least once popular) celebrities roaming the very streets that we walk and drive on. To the point that when you pass by them, you immediately have to do a double take to see if it's the actual celebrity or a lookalike.
And while we're sure there are countless others not just in Portland but especially spread throughout all of the 207, here are three that were spotted in the Old Port in the last week.
