Tiny Coyote Pup Saved in Cape Elizabeth!
Thursday, Corey Hamilton, South Portland's Animal Control Officer, went to Cape Elizabeth, where he ended up rescuing an abandoned baby coyote found by someone in their backyard.
It is such a rare occurrence that they didn't even know what to call a baby coyote, so they called it a "pup."
The cop who saw this little guy even thought for a minute, maybe his own German Shepard would raise it.
They called the Maine Warden Service and they turned it over to the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray ( I still call it the Gray Animal Farm).
The call of a coyote can be heard 3 miles away and the litters have usually 4-7 pups. Hopefully this little guy will make it to howl and be heard 3 miles away,
