What a bummer for fans of the best chicken sandwich in the world! Kittery Premium Outlets posted the announcement that the Chick-Fil-A food truck has been cancelled on their Facebook page. There were four December dates that have all been scrubbed. The response from Mainers is more crying face emojis than you can count. The outlet stores, located in Kittery, Maine, say the cancellation is due to a scheduling conflict. There's no word on whether or not the food truck will be rescheduled in the future.

Surprisingly, there is only one Chick-Fil-A in Maine – in Bangor. There have been ongoing reports that a new store is opening in Westbrook; however, it has been over two years since the announcement was made. It can't open fast enough. We're still waiting for our delicious chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Our patience is running thin.
