Want to Audition for ‘American Idol’? Here is When You Can in Maine

Will you be the next "American Idol?" Well, if you have a decent voice and consider yourself a singer then you could be. For years, we have sat down and watched as many have tried (and some have succeeded) at being the next "American Idol."

I am not sure about you, but I have spent many hours in front of the television watching as some rose to fame. I cannot tell you the number of times that I sat there dialing a number for my favorite singer to win it all (especially when I used multiple phones, yes, I am talking about a landline and a cell phone).

Like always, "American Idol" is looking for participants from all around the United States and your chance to audition is coming up soon. If you are ready to sing your heart out and possibly be on the next season of "American Idol" there are three days that you will be able to audition if you live in Maine.

Live virtual auditions are currently open, so you will need to sign up for your audition date and time. You are also able to submit a full online audition at any time.

Maine Auditions: Wednesday, August 31

East Coast Auditions: Friday, September 9

Nationwide Auditions: Wednesday, September 14
